As promised, here's the second part of the story. My first childhood best friend. If you haven't read the first one, HERE it is.

So yea, as of now, it would be a miracle if I ever meet him again. It's also a miracle if he could even recognise me. Anyways, I hope he is happy and healthy wherever he is.

Update:

I might have some changes. It could be my drawings, styles and many others that I want to improve in. So I might be back with something different once I'm comfortable with the changes. However, I do need to take some time off blogging and keep my updates on Facebook! So I'll be sure to come back with something fresh for you! Be patient with me, alright? :) *hugs*

*And oh, regarding the sad news on MH370, I sincerely hope that everyone will find their closure. No matter what, we need to keep our thoughts and prayers to those who are involved with/ in this incident. Be sensitive. Hope for the best. Don't give up. My heart goes out to all the families and friends.

Drawing Bestie (part one)

This post is about my childhood best friend that I knew from my primary school. Why I suddenly decided to draw my childhood from 13 years ago? I got inspired after reading When I was a Kid by Boey. It made me think back the childhood I had, and this part of my childhood is one of the best. So I'd like to share it with you!

Hey there!

I'm posting almost every single day yea?

Yea...

Anyways, this post is about what happened during a lecture back in college.

We all have that moment where we capture our inside jokes or just tease a little here and there. Especially when you sit right beside your really close friend during lectures.

So here's what happened.

"Play with yourself."

We are the 'best' students ever.

Can't disclose who the lecturer is. However, I think he/ she isn't teaching at the college I've studied anymore.

It's a memory to remember.

Chinese New Year- Aunties

I'm back from Chinese New Year break babeh!

I went back to my hometown and ate, slept, and repeat everything.

Gained some weight though... TT.TT

But that's completely normal though.

If you don't gain any weight on Chinese New Year, then something must be wrong here, my friend.

Three days worth of constant stuffing myself with food.

Three days worth of sniffling and sneezing because of the different environment.

I could actually sense myself getting a little sick.

Anyways, here's one scenario I got from my Chinese New Year visit to my grandmother's place.

Mother's side.

*popo = grandmother

*Aneh Chio = so pretty

My grand aunt, if I don't look like my mum I like look like who?!

And and and, WHY MARRY?!

I'm still young!

My grandmother... She was literally chopping up a pumpkin in the living room just as I got there.

All these shenanigans. It's inevitable. It comes after you every year when you visit any aunties during Chinese New Year.

"You got girlfriend/ boyfriend or not?"

"You married already or not?"

"What are you doing now? Are you duh doctor or engineer?"

"You pregnant already or not?"

Just loads of Blahs... Blah blah blah...

But got Ang Paus so... HEHEH.

How to Fail at Life

My life currently is literally consists of my face stuck to the screen for hours every day.

And you know what phrase I use?

"Become a potato."

Yup, I'm a potato all day errday. Why potato? Because uh... couch potato you know, then uh... I'm on the internet... Oh, I don't know! Just... POTATO.

I don't have that bean-baggy couch though. I wish I have one. Wait, no... Or else I'll REALLY become a potato like this one.

Reason Why I'm Single: #1

Have you ever wonder why you're still single sometimes? Not one bit? Ah, it couldn't be.

Anyway, this is one of the reason why I'm still single.

Protective mum...

But hey, most of the time, mum knows what's best for you. So don't take anything for granted. When you're down, they will always be there to pick you right back up.

Chinese New Year haven't even start, and I see so many Valentine's Day deco/ gifts/ chocolates all over the malls. Chill please, chill...

Drawing: The Big Hair and Hibiscus

Hi everyone!

So this post is really random. I have heck no idea how I came out with this piece here but here it is.

While I was drawing this, I was all aimless. All I used was watercolour pencils, marker pens and black gel pen.

I wanted to practise drawing asians as I am REALLY bad at it.. then aimlessly drew a face out which I have heck no idea who this looks like. Then, aimlessly just coloured the hair BIG. Then just used my black pen and scribble the freaking hair. At the same time I wanted to add a flower on top of the head. Then I added Hibiscus, because I thought that's my national flower, so why not eh?

Then this whole thing just became a piece without a plan. Just random thoughts at the moment while drawing.

Well, most of what I draw throughout my life are not perfect looking. There's always mess and things that don't make sense. At least to me. But the more I look at the mess, the more I like it. I'm weird in my own way.
